Increase Productivity and Profit with 5 Axis Machining

Engineering is a dynamic industry which needs the capacity to respond quickly to advances in technology, changes in client requirements and the demands of the market. Precision Engineering Townsville has a response capacity that enables the organisation to provide high quality products to its client base.

While the technology and equipment for performing multi-axis machining has existed for many years, the applications are different for different industries. 5 axis machining is one method that reduces production time, by machining complex shapes in a single set-up. This ability provides a number of benefits to a production workshop as summarised below:

> An increase in productivity due to only having to perform a single setup (usually with just a single set of fixtures), in contrast to the other methods which need several setups at distinct and separate to achieve the same results. This saves, not only on the cost of the machining itself, but also the time and cost of preparing additional fixtures, as well as reducing the possibility of incorrect alignment by having to move the part more than once.

> Higher cutting speeds because shorter cutting tools can be used, as the head can be lowered towards the job. This alleviates some of the load on the cutter, which reduces breakages, thus increasing tool life. Also reduced is the reverberation that tends to occur more often on 3 axis machines, removing the requirement for time wasting and expensive manual mill work in order to clean up kellered surfaces.

> The ability to machine solid metal as opposed to castings – when producing complex parts this is an inexpensive and quick option, especially for small runs. It allows for much shorter led times e.g. one or two weeks as opposed to a couple of months that would be required to wait for a casting.

> Saves large amounts of time when drilling holes. This may not seem like a major benefit but time is money, and drilling a series of holes with different compound angles is very time consuming. The 5 axis machine gives allowance for the head to be aligned to drill each hole with automatically, where as with a 3 axis machine the holes need to be drilled separately.

The combination of reduced set-up times, savings on fixtures, reduced error rates and higher cutting speeds enables the job to be delivered to the client in a much shorter time frame, with little possibility of late delivery because of errors requiring re-machining. The individual businesses of each client will benefit because the components created using 5 axis machining are available on time and with high quality for the next step in their individual processes.

Leaflets: the cheapest way to spread the word

Leaflets: The cheapest way to spread the word

The matter is as simple as spreading the word about a new business or venture that you are starting. How you get it across to the potential customer is the crux of the whole thing. There is no dearth of media for that purpose. However, if there is dearth of funds, the best of the lot that you can turn to is the ‘print media.’ Leaflets, also called the ‘poor man’s advertisement,’ is one of the cheapest forms of advertisement, and also one of the most effective- if executed efficiently. Leaflets are of different kinds, based on their purpose. For example, the list below sums up some of the usual suspects when it comes to categories: • Event leaflets: These are small posters used for announcing an event. They are usually 8.5″ x 11″ sheets and are printed on one side • Leaflets: They are also of the dimensions of 8.5″x 11″ sheets, but the matter is generally printed on both sides, and the leaflet is folded twice or thrice. Photographs are also used to add a degree of supporting detail • Fact sheets: These are also leaflets printed on one or two sides of 8.5″x 11″ sheets. Photographs are usually not used on these. The peculiarity of the fact sheets is that they are not meant to be handed out to people in the streets and are only offered to people who request further information. They are best displayed in attractive leaflet dispensers at your office, so that those in need of information can access it easily Leaflets are the most effective way to tell the crowd that you have something new to offer. In case you are looking for attractive acrylic leaflet holders, POS Acrylics is not to be missed. We can offer the benefits of our experience.

If you’re new to affiliate marketing be prepared to do a lot of this

If You’re New to Affiliate Marketing be Prepared to Do a Lot of This..

Running an affiliate marketing business is hard work, at least in the beginning. Some people are under the impression that they’ll be able to jump on the internet and start pushing buttons that will make them rich beyond they’re wildest dreams. Oh, and they think that this is going to happen overnight. This is all a pipe dream folks.

Affiliate marketing is more than a full time job when you first get started. There’s market research to be done and once you find a niche that your research shows could be profitable, you’ll need to start building a website or have someone do it for you. Once that is completed you’ll need to start driving traffic to your site and building a subscriber list. Oh, you’ll also need to write a series of messages to insert into your autoresponder so that they can be automatically delivered to your subscribers after they’ve signed up to your list. This is just the beginning.

Are you beginning to see the light? I didn’t say that it was impossible to do and I wasn’t trying to discourage you in any way. I just want you to be aware that this is a lot of work to get started and these steps (and more) must be repeated every time you enter another niche. The good news is that once you’ve gotten your system set up then it will run virtually on auto pilot, but you’ve got to do the work first.

The rewards for those that perservere with their affiliate marketing business are endless. The money is great and the freedom to do whatever you want, when you want, is awesome, however, it doesn’t come without a price. If you plan to make a living in affiliate marketing then you’d better be ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work.
